2020 High School & Middle School Registration


High School and Middle School Registration will open on the website on Sunday, January 12, 2020.

 Players MUST register online at www.pwestlax.org. 
Parent/guardian must create an account on our website to add a player(s).

1. REGISTER and pay fees online at www.pwestlax.org. You will need your current US Lacrosse member # to register.  Please purchase or
renew your membership at www.uslacrosse.org.

2.      PAYMENTS NEEDED: 

·         $275 for middle school dues or $425 for high school dues (paid online via credit card when registering).
  If registering more than one player in your household, a discount of $50 will be applied to the older player's dues.

·         $150 high school uniform deposit check and $250 high school work duty deposit check made payable to PWBLC (dated 6/1/2020).
  These checks will be handed in on registration night which will be Tuesday, 1/28 at 7:00 p.m. in the West High Cafeteria.  
  No player will be allowed to practice or be given a uniform until registration is complete and deposit checks are turned in.

·         $20 to purchase reversible practice pinny for high school players who do not already have one.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Tuesday, January 28, 2020 - Registration Night 

Monday February 24, 2020 - First Day of Practice  

Saturday, May 4, 2020 - Missouri JV Tournament hosted by PWBLC 


REFUND POLICIES:

If a player resigns from the Club on or before the first practice on 2/24/20 a full refund will be given (US Lacrosse membership is non-refundable).

If a player resigns from the Club after the first practice but before Spring Break a $100 refund will be given.

Any player who resigns after Spring Break has begun will NOT receive a refund.

 

ELIGIBILITY TO PARTICIPATE:

Online registration, full payment of fees, uniform and work duty deposits and proof of US Lacrosse membership and grade eligibility are required by the first day of practice on 2/24/20. 

Grades/Citizenship: Education is the highest priority with West Lacrosse. In accordance with MSHSAA guidelines, players must have taken and passed a minimum of  3.0 credits during the Fall semester prior to the season to which you are registering: passing 6 of 7 classes. Students must also be creditable citizens judged by appropriate authority.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

Each player is required to provide their own lacrosse equipment.  The Club does have some gear that can be used temporarily. 

·         Helmet

·         Protective pads (arm pads/guards, shoulder/chest protection)

·         Throat protector (Goalies only)

·         Protective gloves

·         Crosse (aka Stick)

·         Mouth guard
